Coffee & Chocolate love started to spread around the World with the opening of Coffee & Chocolate houses in Vienna and in Europe in the 17'th century.

1453 The World’s first coffee shop, Kiva Han, opened in Constantinople (Istanbul)

1492 Columbus reached the New World and learned about chocolate from Aztecs and Mayans. Spain kept chocolate secret from rest of the Europe for almost 100 years

1683 Following the retreat of the Ottamans after the Siege of Vienna, they abandoned sacks of unroasted coffee beans that the Viennese mistook as camel fodder.
But, Diodato, an Armenian, knew better and served the beans as “Turkish drink” in the first coffee shop in Vienna.
